About Us
OM Therapy follows Osteopathy's whole-person approach. Gentle techniques that have been developed for over 100 years are used to treat bones, muscle, organs, and the whole body to enhance its natural healing ability. Osteopathy started in 1874, when medical doctors were rare in rural communities.
Your Osteopathic Manual Practitioner is a highly trained therapist with expertise in anatomy, physiology, organ systems, pathology, pharmacology, pediatrics, rehabilitation, consultation, and analysis of the human body.
Why Osteopathy?
All over the world, Osteopathic Manual Practitioners focus on finding and treating the root cause. Instead of treating individual symptoms, we treat the body's structures and systems at every level to return it to healthy function.
Sometimes an issue can be caused by bones, but scar tissue, old injuries, or chronic inflammation can also cause symptoms. Osteopathy's superpower is that it can address whatever your body most needs. Osteopathic Manual Practitioners are trained to treat how entire systems of the body interact, from your head to your toes.
